Here’s a slow cooker chicken soup that I tried earlier. Sometimes I forget I own a slow cooker but it comes in handy especially when you want to “set it and forget it” 🤣 you know?

Like you can have chicken in the slow cooker overnight, wake up and basically have your meal prepared.

Anyway, it’s the season to be eating & drinking more warm foods and stews.

Try this out and let me know how it tastes✨

Ingredients 📝
White cannellini beans
Chicken broth
Chicken breast
Carrot
Onion
Parsley
Kale
Seasoning: salt and pepper, oregano, thyme, garlic powder

Cook on low for 8hrs

I can’t remember how I came across chlorella 🌿 but I’m happy I did. Since it’s a powder you can add it to water or in a smoothie like I did in this video.

I’ve been eating more fish lately and I finally

I’ve been eating more fish lately and I finally figured out a recipe I enjoy. A majority of the time when I prepare meals I just go with vibes lol so I make sure the seasoning is plentiful.

The haddock fillets are purchased frozen. It’s been thawed and patted dry before seasoning it with a blend of:

- Dash seasoning
- Oregano
- Sea salt
- Chicken spices (turmeric spices)
- Cayenne pepper
- Onion powder

I add it to the pan already heated with olive oil and onion. Add the fillets to the pan on med heat along with a bit of water, butter and jerk seasoning. I had zucchini cubes chopped up and added that once the fish is cooked to sauté. The entire cook time is under 20mins.

I was reading this book called "The Mountain is You" and it talks a lot about how the human brain is wired to find comfort in what's familiar. Unfortunately, that also involves staying within our comfort zones or continuing habits that don't really serve us.

Think about switching your daily routine of almost 30 yrs overnight. It's not going to be easy. You may fail, several times but you'll learn a lot about yourself. It'll definitely be a challenge but it is possible - it will require more of you.

Dedicating a few moments to myself each day to answer journal prompts have helped me explore areas of myself that I honestly haven't given much thought to 😅.
