I drink smoothies pretty much on a daily basis. It’s a great way to intake nutrients, it’s easy to prepare and digest. It also gives me a chance to add in: flaxseeds or chia seeds, green powders, protein powders and bitter greens (aka foods I don’t want to eat lol).
Lately I’ve making smoothies using berries as my main fruit base. One reason is because it’s Dr. Sebi approved lol, another reason is because it’s known for being great source of antioxidants (helps reduce the damage of cells) low in sugar and are high in soluble fibre (keep you full). I decided to add Moringa powder (another suggestion from Dr. Sebi) due to its high iron value.
Moringa oilefera is similar to berries being that its high in antioxidants but it’s also commonly used in traditional remedies. It’s known for having 4x the amount of calcium in milk and is an excellent source of protein, vitamin A, potassium and vitamin C (more information can be found here).
I know the colour is off-putting but I promiseee, it’s so good and healthy (thank me later).
Ingredients
1/2 c frozen berry mix (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1/2 c of water (you can use plant-based milks or coconut water as a sub)

1/2 cucumber

1/2 ripe banana
1 tbsp flaxseeds
1 tbsp Moringa powder
2 dates (for sweetness)
